The little group Lynne gathered in early 2006 to bring together those vested in the environment has grown into a fun, interesting and inspiring crowd. It seems that every time we have a get together there are more people sharing great ideas. In December We took over The Purple Tooth with at least 75 people, yet still managed to keep it personal with intros around the room. 

It’s fascinating to learn of so many green related businesses and initiatives that have started up just within the last year. Our group's goal is to bring together all of us who share a passion for the environment and concern for our Chesapeake Bay. Casual, fun, unstructured .... with drinks and great green ideas! Pass the word and email Lynne to let her know who she should add to our roster.

Long ago, in a place far, far away... No, not really. It started with a couple of friends talking about how it's not easy to get the big picture of Green initiatives in the Annapolis area. Why not gather info from the community and put it all in one place for the benefit of all?

That's what we're doing. The website was was the brainchild of Elvia Thompson, President of Stellar Presentations and a Board member of the Spa Creek Conservancy, and Lynne Forsman, formerly of Nautical Destinations who started Green Drinks in Annapolis and is a leader in the greening of the hospitality industry.
